One of our coworkers and Union Brothers was killed this past Sunday. James D. George, 54, of New castle, PA., was performing work from the bucket of his truck on a line in Wayne Township when his truck overturned. George was slammed to the pavement and pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr. George had been with Penn Power, a subsidiary of First Energy, for over 10 years, and was a member of Utility Workers Union of America Local 140.
The members of UWUA Local 304 offer our deepest condolences to Mr. George’s family and fellow Utility Worker of Local 140.
